Center Mine awarded for giving others a Sporting Chance

BNI Coal, Ltd.'s Center Mine, Center, ND, is not only home to large draglines, impressive dozers and miles of lignite coal seams; it is also home to some of the Sporting Chance organization's outdoor activities for people with disabilities. Because of its commitment to community involvement, BNI Coal, Ltd. was awarded the 2010 North Dakota Excellence in Mining and Reclamation Award by the North Dakota Public Service Commission.
